Minister Larivee answers my questions about infrastructure and health issues in Fort McMurray
Our hearts continue to go out to the people of Fort McMurray. In addition to the stress of being asked to leave their homes at a moment's notice, their minds are now turning to what work will be needed to get them back. Our government is doing everything it can to get displaced residents back to a safe, healthy community as soon as possible.
On May 12th I asked Danielle Larivee, Minister of Municipal Affairs, questions about what is being done about key infrastructure like electricity delivery, air quality issues and the use of fire retardants in the Fort McMurray area. My questions and her answers are in the video below.
